Mirror Pavilion

The Mirror Pavilion is a contemporary residential retreat designed to harmonize sharp Mediterranean geometry with the soft textures of a woodland lakeside. Focusing on the philosophy of selective contrast, the project places a crisp white stucco structure within a natural setting to act as a minimalist viewing box. The architecture features a low-profile layout with exposed steel rafters and a distinctive arched entry porch that softens the modern facade. Large aluminum-framed windows and multi-paned French doors provide panoramic views, while a gravel driveway grounds the building in its environment. Built for durability in damp climates, the pavilion utilizes weather-resistant interlocking roof tiles to create a sustainable sanctuary emphasizing clarity, light, and symmetry.
